Microbe Wise for Soil Forecasta
Microbe Wise for Soil Forecasta measures the living biomass of key microbial groups important for soil health and productivity directly from your sample. Soil microbes are highly dependent on plants. Microbe Wise for Soil Forecasta indicates a likely community of microbes in your soil from samples taken when plants aren’t growing (for example, pre-plant, or during a fallow, etc.). It uses a standardised plant bioassay to allow for plant-microbe interactions during the first few weeks of plant growth. Like Microbe Wise for Soil, it uses molecular (‘DNA type’) technology to analyse the unique cell membrane ‘fingerprint’ of each microbe group essential to important soil processes, such as nutrient release, disease suppression, residue breakdown, and microbial diversity. Results are presented in a way that allows you to easily assess the microbial health of your soil in detail and indicates what that means in practice.
Microbe Wise for Soil Forecasta is specifically designed for soils where plants are not currently being grown (e.g., pre-plant). If plants are currently being grown opt for the non-Forecasta versions of Microbe Wise for Soil.
